Napa Valley Cabernet Grapes Flavorful in 2016

Napa Valley winemakers are expecting this year’s harvest to have enhanced flavors and less alcohol content. The region is known for its Cabernet grapes. This year, cool days at the beginning of the harvest allowed flavor development, but not a lot of accumulation of sugar. The harvest began in early September and will continue until the end of October. The yield is back to average after a light harvest in 2015. Winemaker Rebekah Wineburg of Quintessa winery expects another great vintage this year, reports CBS News. Full Story
